Cyber Assistance
Eulogika helps companies understand, solve and prevent cybersecurity problems of every kind: from a compromised smartphone or a cloned messaging account to fraudulent payment requests, malware, outdated devices and misconfigured servers. A structured method takes each case from the first symptom to the root cause, the fix and the measures that stop it happening again.
WhatsApp cloned without a click: what an outdated iPhone teaches
In spring 2026 several Italian users had their WhatsApp account cloned without touching anything. The attackers then asked the victims' contacts for bank transfers. The chain combined two vulnerabilities, both already fixed in August 2025:
CVE-2025-55177WhatsApp for iOS: incomplete authorization in device sync, the delivery channel.CVE-2025-43300iOS ImageIO: out-of-bounds write through a crafted image, the entry point.
Two-step verification, PIN and biometrics did not help, because the attack exploited code defects, not user mistakes. What would have stopped it was an up-to-date device. The lesson applies to every company: most incidents start from a known, already-patched weakness that nobody had checked.

The same four-step method applies whether the problem is a single phone or an entire plant network. It separates what is urgent from what is structural, so the immediate damage is contained without losing sight of the cause.
1. Assessment
We map devices, accounts, servers, network and software versions, including personal devices used for work (BYOD), and compare them with the known vulnerabilities.
2. Diagnosis
We reconstruct how the problem happened from logs, configurations and symptoms, distinguishing the entry point from the channel and from the impact.
3. Remediation
We close the hole and what it left behind: updates, revoked sessions and credentials, cleaned systems, corrected configurations and restored services.
4. Ongoing support
We turn the lesson into rules: update policies, periodic checks, anti-fraud procedures and staff training, with a point of contact for the next question.
Cyber Problems We Handle
Eulogika has worked for over ten years on the systems side of its clients, from servers to the devices used in offices and factories. That breadth lets us address problems that do not fit into a single product category.
Compromised mobile devices
Suspicious smartphones and tablets, zero-click exploits, outdated or unsupported operating systems, BYOD devices outside any control.
Account takeover
Cloned messaging accounts, stolen email or Microsoft 365 credentials, ghost sessions that survive a password change.
Phishing and payment fraud
Fake supplier emails, IBAN change requests, urgent payment messages on chat: analysis of the case and a written verification procedure.
Malware and ransomware
Infected workstations and servers, containment, clean-up, restore from backup and verification that the attacker is out.
Obsolescence and patching
Inventory of versions, missing updates, end-of-support hardware and a replacement plan before it becomes an incident.
Servers and networks
Exposed services, weak configurations, firewall and VPN rules, segmentation, logging and backup that actually restores.
Factory and OT devices
PCs on machines, PLC gateways, IoT and MES systems that cannot always be updated and must be isolated instead.
Cloud and Microsoft 365
Tenant configuration, multi-factor authentication, sharing permissions, conditional access and audit of suspicious activity.
What a Security Assessment Delivers
An Eulogika assessment ends with documents you can act on, not a generic score.
- Inventory of devices, accounts and software, with version and support status
- List of known vulnerabilities that actually apply to your environment
- Review of server, network, firewall, VPN and cloud configurations
- Check of backups with a real restore test
- Written anti-fraud procedure for payments and bank detail changes
- Prioritized remediation plan: what to fix now, what to plan, what to accept
If You Suspect an Incident Right Now
- 1Do not reset or reinstall the device before talking to us: evidence may be needed.
- 2Warn your contacts through a different channel and block any pending payment.
- 3Call Eulogika: we contain the problem, close active sessions and assess the damage.
- 4Where legal or economic consequences are involved, we coordinate with forensic professionals.
Cyber Assistance: Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of cyber problems does Eulogika handle?+
Eulogika handles compromised smartphones and computers, cloned messaging and email accounts, phishing and payment fraud, malware and ransomware, outdated devices and missing patches, misconfigured servers, networks and Microsoft 365 tenants, and security issues on factory and OT devices.
What is a cybersecurity assessment and how long does it take?+
A cybersecurity assessment is a structured check of devices, accounts, software versions and configurations against known vulnerabilities and good practice. For a small or medium company it typically takes a few days and ends with a prioritized remediation plan.
Is two-factor authentication enough to protect a WhatsApp or email account?+
No. Two-factor authentication protects against stolen passwords, but not against exploits that abuse software defects, such as the 2026 zero-click WhatsApp attacks on unpatched iPhones. Keeping the operating system and apps updated is the measure that closes those attacks.
What should a company do if an employee's phone is compromised?+
Isolate the device, warn contacts through another channel, block pending payments and contact a specialist before resetting the phone, so that evidence is preserved. Updating the phone afterwards is not enough on its own: active sessions must be closed explicitly.
Is Eulogika cyber assistance only for NIS2 companies?+
No. Cyber assistance is for any company, regardless of NIS2 obligations. Companies in NIS2 scope can combine it with the Eulogika NIS2 compliance service, so that incidents and assessments also feed the required documentation.
