Office Automation: let your Windows business software run itself
Eulogika Automator is the desktop automation (RPA) app that fills in forms, grids and menus of Windows programs for you, reads and writes Excel, sends emails and calls APIs. Flows are built from blocks, with no coding, and run entirely on your PC: no cloud, no account, no data leaving the company.
- Read orders.xlsx
- Launch the ERP client
- For each order line
- If quantity = 0 → skip the line
- Menu Documents › New order
- Type code and quantity in the grid
- If total > budget → exit the loop
- Try: save the order · on error: notify
- Email the outcome
Automation that speaks your programs' language
In many companies work still goes through business applications and desktop programs with no API: data is copied from Excel, orders are entered line by line, master data is typed in by hand. Eulogika Automator does these jobs the way a person would, but without typos or fatigue, and keeps a record of every step.
Visual editor, no code
Flows are built by dragging actions from a palette, with guided configuration and live validation.
Legacy software too
WinForms, WPF, classic Win32 (MFC, VB6, Delphi) and even applications that do not expose their controls.
Fully local
Flows, run history and passwords stay on the PC. No cloud subscription, no telemetry.
C# when you want it
Developers can add C# script steps that read and write the flow's variables.
What you can automate
Real examples, the same as the demo flows shipped with the product.
Orders in the ERP
Order lines from Excel or a file entered in the grid, with customer lookup, payment terms and a total check.
Bulk master data
Customers, suppliers or items loaded one after another from a list, with a final check of what was saved.
Expense reports and forms
Filling in tabs, combos, lists and confirmation dialogs, handling validation errors and retrying.
Warehouse on Win32 software
Legacy programs written in C, VB6 or Delphi driven through control IDs, menus and standard message boxes.
Reports and notifications
Reading results from the screens, writing them to Excel and emailing the outcome when the job is done.
Files, APIs and commands
Moving and renaming files, calling REST services, reading IMAP mailboxes, running programs and reading their output.
Three levels of compatibility with Windows applications
Eulogika Automator uses Windows UI Automation, and where an application cannot be seen it switches to keyboard and coordinates.
WinForms and WPF
Every control: buttons, text boxes, combos, grids, tabs, modal dialogs, nested ones included.
Clicking, typing, picking items, editing cells and reading values, control by control.
Classic Win32 (MFC, VB6, Delphi VCL)
Standard controls, identified by their numeric ID or their label.
The same actions as for modern programs, using control IDs and native menus.
"Opaque" applications (GTK, Qt, remote sessions)
Only the window and its title.
Keyboard shortcuts, clicks at percentage coordinates, reading from the clipboard and the title.
Eulogika Automator's capabilities
More than 30 ready-made actions and the flow control of a programming language, in an interface designed for office staff.
User interface automation
Forms, menus and grids
It launches applications and drives their controls as a user would, finding dialog boxes automatically and waiting for elements to appear.
- Click, type, pick from menus, combos, lists and tabs
- Edit and read grid cells
- Keys and shortcuts, clicks at coordinates, clipboard reading
Excel, files and data
Data flows in and out
It reads and writes Excel workbooks (.xlsx) and text files, parses JSON and extracts values with regular expressions, keeping everything in variables that later steps can reuse.
- Read and write .xlsx files
- Read, write, copy, move and delete files
- Variables, counters, JSON and regular expressions
Email, APIs and programs
The flow talks to everything else
It sends email via SMTP and reads mail via IMAP, calls web services and runs external programs, collecting their results.
- Outgoing (SMTP) and incoming (IMAP) email
- HTTP GET, POST, PUT and DELETE calls with headers and timeout
- Command execution with output capture
Flow control
Real logic, not just sequences
Conditions, loops and error handling make real cases automatable: lines to skip, limits to respect, dialogs that sometimes appear and sometimes do not.
- If/Else, For Each, While, Repeat
- Break, Continue, steps that can be disabled
- Try/Catch/Finally, with the error message
Runs and history
Every step on record
Each run saves the status, inputs, outputs and errors of every step. The log can be followed live and the history consulted at any time.
- Live log and run history
- Several flows in parallel, with a configurable limit
- Automatic history cleanup and recovery after an interruption
Security
Designed to do no harm
Before every keystroke or click the flow checks that the right window is in the foreground: if it is not, it stops instead of typing into another application. Passwords are encrypted with Windows data protection.
- Target window check before every input
- Passwords encrypted (DPAPI) and referenced by name in steps
- Exports without secrets: only the names to fill in on import
When a flow starts
A flow starts with a click or on its own, while Eulogika Automator stays active in the notification area.
From manual work to an automatic flow
Five steps, no code to write.
- 01BuildDrag actions into the editor and point at the application controls to use.
- 02Connect the dataExcel, files, email or APIs become variables to use in the steps.
- 03TestRun the flow and follow the live log: each step shows its inputs and outcome.
- 04AutomateStart it by hand or let it start on its own: schedules, folders, events.
- 05CheckThe history tells you what was done, when and with what result.
Lean deployment
A Windows app, not a platform to manage.
No admin rights
Installation is per user and does not require administrator privileges.
No server, no cloud
No central orchestrator or account needed: everything runs on the PC.
Stays in the background
When you close the window the app stays in the notification area and keeps starting flows.
Portable flows
Flows are exported and imported as files, from one PC to another.
We can build the flow for you
Eulogika has been developing business software and ERP integrations for years: we know the screens of business applications and their weak spots. We can design and deliver ready-made flows, train your staff and, when user interface automation is not enough, connect the systems directly with our ERP middleware.
Frequently asked questions about Eulogika Automator
What is Eulogika Automator?
Eulogika Automator is a Windows desktop automation (RPA) app: it runs flows that drive the applications installed on the PC, clicking, typing and reading their controls, and combines them with Excel, files, email, API calls and commands. Flows are built in a visual block editor, with no coding.
Which programs does it work with?
With WinForms and WPF Windows applications it has access to every control, grids and nested dialogs included. With classic Win32 programs (MFC, VB6, Delphi VCL with standard controls) it uses the controls' numeric IDs. With applications that do not expose their controls, such as GTK, Qt without accessibility or remote sessions, it works with keyboard shortcuts, clicks at coordinates and clipboard reading.
Do I need to know how to program?
No. Flows are put together by dragging actions from a palette and filling in guided fields, with conditions, loops and error handling ready to use. Developers can add C# script steps that read and write the flow's variables.
Do my data and passwords stay in the company?
Yes. Flows, run history and passwords are stored on the PC; passwords are encrypted with the user's Windows data protection (DPAPI) and exported flows contain only their names. The app requires no account or cloud service, sends no telemetry, and the webhook used to start flows from other programs listens only on the PC itself.
Can I use the PC while a flow is running?
When the flow uses keyboard and mouse, as for grids or opaque applications, it needs an active, unlocked Windows session, and it is best not to use the PC at that moment. For safety every keystroke or click is sent only if the application's window is in the foreground: otherwise the step stops with an error instead of typing into another window.
How is it different from Power Automate Desktop or UiPath?
Eulogika Automator is a lightweight local app: it installs per user without admin rights, requires no account, orchestrator or per-robot cloud licences, and keeps data and passwords on the PC. It was born and is tested on the business software used by Italian companies, legacy Win32 programs included, and is supported directly by Eulogika, which can build the flows for you.
